Fly-By July

Celebrating Independence Day on July 3rd- Daddy & Theo

We found a great spot behind the library in Howard to watch these beauties.

Yee- Ha! How long has it been since we were the little ones pulling apart cotton candy and wondering what strength it took to rope a calf at the Manawa Rodeo?

Now it is our kids turn. Nachos and Ice cream bars for all!

Back home, I found Theo and Leila watching the neighbors shoot off some fire works from the street. Front row seats!

Visiting the Stadium and posing as part of the crowd.

Uncle Phil had a really fun birthday party a couple of days later.
Here are Leila and Olivet, chatting away, I'm sure!

Viv and Theo looking for something to get into :)

This is NOT Lindsey, it is Hadassah with a pretty smile!

Auggie and Reuel Man taking turns.

A little ring-toss competition...

.....and a happy Momma and baby.

Brothers testing out a helicopter in Alpha.
They may not sell ice cream any longer, but they have the coolest rides!

Picking up 2 more to add to our five for the week. Heading up north!

Complete with a snack.

Honk if you love basketball!

My yummy birthday cake Tim made, "resting" on the stove.

Games, movies, hiking and exploring work up an appetite!

Cousin/brother love!

Me and my main squeeze at the beach. This was an impromptu trip which ended with...

....a jump in the Michigame! These kids had a blast swimming until the rain came.

Lots of competition this week shooting bow and arrows...

....and playing scrabble :)

Theo could spend hours doing this.

Twinsies from head to toe.

Stephanie and Kate helping me sand, putty and paint.....

...ohhh how pretty!

This cupboard used to be light brown and have doors.

Not any more!

We spent a night at the Tundra Lodge and here is Sam right after the water slide.

Gretta says "cheese"!

Silas didn't know I snapped this one. He loved the lazy river!

Leila and Theo splashing around.

Pose if you want to come back!

This night was so refreshing and beautiful- one we will always cherish.

Sam and his friend Zach had a tournament weekend...GO Knights!

The same weekend, our Feldner friends joined us. Here are the girls right before ice cream (how many times can you find "ice cream" in this post?!?").

We had tons of fun cheering Sam on, swimming, playing at the park, & catching up.

Grandma Lo and I both have July birthdays and have been celebrating together. We were at the beach and the kids were so brave, but the water was SO cold.

This fog was so mysterious, but the game of bocce ball wasn't...

....and we have a winner!

Grandma Day 2016

Mike's Port and Pub serves the best burgers and fries. The kids stayed at Grandma's and a friend watched Theo (who happened to have the contagious "hand-foot & mouth"). Tim and I took a trip up to Bailey's Harbor for a lovely night away.

We had the "King Suite" and didn't find it too hard to get into relax mode :)

Slowly sipping and watching the sunset.

What a view!

Breathtaking.

We jumped back into the swing of life at home with Jax's bday party- Auntie Amber made this cake!! Raise your hand if you think she should do this for a living!!

Be careful where you walk or you may get stung!

Going for a swim...

The birthday boy is three! Until next time...
