Wrapping up Summer

Has it really been over four months since our last post?! We have been busy getting ready for baby #4 (due in 2 weeks!!) and enjoying summer...so much more to share, but here are the latest happenings....

Pigs at the Brown County Fair...We were in this barn when one large pig got loose...quite an uproar until he was finally herded back to his stall!

Grets and Sam on their tippy toes...they really were having fun :)

Still at the fair, decorating door hangers with a state cut out and farm animals.

This pic is taken from our living room of a nest on the awning over our living room window...3 eggs just hatched and we've had the joy of watching the young birds grow up :)

One hot day we peeled and broke crayons, filled them in these "IKEA" (love Ikea!) heart molds, and set them on a cookie sheet only to be melted by the hot sun on the dash board of the van for 2 hours...
Here is Irelynn showing off her color and design skills :) (We get to have her over a few days each week in the summer and the kids love it!)

And...viola! Heart shaped crayons. Will definitely do this project again!

Here we are at Sunset park listening to Uncle Roj's band play...great summer entertainment!

Sy walking with Grandma....

Sam enjoying his sub sandwich....

And Gretta anxiously waiting for the music to start!

Tim and I are honored to be god parents to our dear friends Heidi and Jeff's son, Ethan James.

And finally, our camping trip to Glidden Lake...one last family get-away this summer. The kids seem to love everything about camping, from scoping out bugs to s'mores around the fire, they love living in the woods!
